HTTP connection test

Hi,

The messages are successfull in XI but the data is not reaching the target thrid party system and the receiver communication channel is HTTP.

Adrressing type : URL Address

Target host: Some ip address

So how Do I check the connectivity of this http connection to the target host?

Hi Indu,

check wfetch! A nice tool to test messages outside XI.

Point the browser to the HTTP URL and check the status.

I gave the IP adrress in the browser but it says:

"You are not allowed to access beyond XI system"

Hi,

you are right that you can't see http Adapter in RWB.

The only way is message monitoring and it's strange that it's there successful.

It sounds like a firewall problem.

What is the URL your are trying to connect?

Have you got any proxys in your net?

hi,

The receiver channel is HTTP and it canot viwed in Adapter engine I guess..

We just can check the connection via sm59 for the CC created with Adressing type: HTTP connection,but in here I have URL ADDRESS as Adrressing type.

Hi Indu,

Check your Communication Channel for any errors.

Go to Runtime Workbench --> Component Monitoring --> Adapter Engine --> Communication Channel Monitoring.

If your HTTP Receiver adapter is not working properly the error should be displayed here.
