Fund Plan issue in SAP CRM Trade Promotional Management

The Fund determination fails while creating the Trade Promotion(TP) Activity. The associated fund is well maintained with correct customer hierarchy and product hierarchy combination. But the issue is with Fund plan which was created without maintaining the division in organisational data due to which Funds are not being determined in TP.

I tried to lock or close the Fund plan but while doing so, the system is throwing an error such as 'Make an entry in field Division' which is already grayed out.

Could anyone help me in dealing this issue, I want to know how can i eliminate this Fund plan so that I can create a new one with proper details.

Hello Deepak,

please refer to the following wiki, this provides some general information about CRM TPM - Funds management integration:
Funds Management Integration in CRM Trade Promotion Management

For the specific issue, as far I understand the Funds Plan is in kind of a deadlock situation - it cannot be used by any TP, but cannot be closed either (due to the missing division). What I do not understand is how you were able to release that Fund Plan with the same org data, that is now not working?

Further the question is if you want to keep that Funds Plan, or indeed create a new one and move the Funds to the new Funds Plan? If you want to keep that Funds Plan you can try using the Hierachical Match for the Sales Org. attribute in the Fund Determination Profile used by the affected TP - this can be done in the following customizing:

Customer Relationship Management
Funds Management
Fund Determination
Define Fund Determination Profiles

I did not test the approach but due to my understanding this should work.

In case you do not want to use the 'faulty' Funds Plan any more, you need to create a new Funds Plan, and move the Funds Budgets to the new Funds Plan.

best regards,

Johannes
