standard background jobs

After support package upgradation in R3 Production system, we found that some of the standard background jobs are not scheduled/not running.

Should we go ahead by selecting SM36 --> Standard Jobs --> Default Scheduling to reschedule all the background jobs as per SAP Standards?

Kindly guide us

Hi Vijay,

If jobs are scheduled but not running check the reason for that.

May be some body has suspended the release jobs to scheduled status by running program BTCTRNS1.In sm37 with scheduled option find the list of jobs.If default jobs are at scheduled status then changed it to release status by running BTCTRNS2 or else you can to the default scheduling in sm36.

Here select the jobs that are not scheduled unless it will be scheduled twice.

SM36 --> Standard Jobs --> Default Scheduling

Regards

Ashok
