procedure to open new OSS note .

hi gurus ,

can any one guide me in opening a new OSS note ...

    Hi,

    New OSS note means u want to search note or u want to raise product error

    Hi,

    OSS are online sap support notes. These notes are available online for solving critical problems in sap system.We may use the already existing notes or may add our own quaries.

    In order to apply any OSS note, you have to be authorized by your company and be assigned an OSS ID and password.

    For any SAP standard program modification, you are required to login to OSS and request for a repair program Access key.

    Access the SAP Support Portal:

    http://service.sap.com/

    And

    You can download the note from the market place or by using the tcode"SNOTE".Then you cann apply the note from the same tcode.

    use this web link http://service.sap.com/

    and clcik on SAP Support Portal -->SAP Notes Search

    then you get login screen, here you ned to enter the login OSS number and password,

    then you get the OSS note search , here you can search the new SNOTE

    i have a query and my client wants me to open an 0SS note to have explain the query by SAP.

    Hi Brahma ,

    i have tried this Tcode But i am not able to connect to OSS , so looking for other alternative to raise/ open a new OSS.

    i mean i have to create a new OSS & not to search the old OSS notes . i need help creating a new OSS .

    Hi,

    First u have to get login to service.sap.com

    Get login id from ur client.

    There are 4 steps to raise product error to SAP

    Click it on "help & support tab"

    Then select the report & product error sub tab.

    Go to product error

    In put ur system

    Enter ur system information and ur error information and save.

    then they will send mail to u, the mail id what u have maintained in the login person information.

    Once start first step then system will give u proper direction
