not able to see sm35 job logs in database server

Dear all,

I am scheduling a batch job in sm35 in application server. The job is completed successfully, but i am tring to see the same log from database server it is giving me a temse I/O error. but i can able to see the same log in application server.

My SAP version is ECC 6.0 Non unicode.

database server in solaris machine, application server in windows.

can you please answer my query.

Hi Sharma,

SM35 logs are by default stored in /sapmnt/<SID>global/100BDCLG.

In your configuration; I assume the central instance is also on Solaris.

My guess: you have 2 global directories: one on Solaris and one on Windows. You application server writes the logs to the directory on Windows, where the Central Instance (on Solaris) cannot access it.

Hi,

Can you post us the complete Error log which u are able to see at DB and Application level ( SM21 )
