WebUI transaction launcher in ECC delivers only empty screen

we need to launch ECC-Transactions VD03 (or XD03, VA03 etc) in WebUI. In order to do so, the following steps have been made:

- create ZTSTC

- configure transaction wihr CRMC_UI_ACTIONWZ

- integrate the URL into the NavBar

When I now try to start the transaction, the following text apears on the start screen:

The object you have selected is starting in a new browser window. You can continue working normally in the current application. However, you may have to navigate back to the page you were working on

A separate window opens, where the URL ..../bc/bsp/sap/crm_ui_frame/genericpos is the only information listed.

Any ideas or similar experiences? Thanks for your support.

Please check whether your RFC connection is working or not.

Also check whether your Port is opened, if yes you should be able to launch a transaction out there.

If you are trying to launch an ECC transaction, simple way is to go with URL .

Create a URL with parameter for required transaction. Using this create a Launch Transaction ID.

    Hope this helps,

      Hi Marcus,

I just solved this issue I have been facing since long now. I have a thread on it if you need to check:

      Format of an ITS URL

The ITS URL which you need to specify is:

      http://<server>:<port name>/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui/!?transaction=<ECC TRANSACTION>&okcode=ICEXECUTE

In the above mentioned URL , you will have to replace the server name and the port name ofyour ecc server. Similarly replace the transaction code with the ECC tx.code you need to launch.

Hope it helps. For further information regarding the transaction launcher, you might find this thread very useful: open report using transaction launcher
