standard copy controls needed for.............

hi,

sap gurus,

good evening to all,

in standard copy control settings there is inquiry to quotation to sales order to delivery to billing.

this above is available.

but we want copy controls for QUOTATION TO QUANTITY CONTRACT TO SALES ORDER and then

normal process continues.

please throw some light on this.

A copy control between Quotation and Sales Contract is not possible, because the contract document is supposed to contain certain details which cannot be obtained from a Quotation document. These can be fields like Contract start date, Contract end date, Billing plans etc. Hence this copy control is not available.

However as already mentioned, copy control between contract and order is available.

Workaround is to create a new copy controls from your quotation type to contract type in VTAA.

Even if no standard copy controls are existing you can create a new copy controls in VTAA from your quotation type to order type. There wont be any problems as majority of the data flows from the quotation to contract and whatever is not copied may be entered manually in the contract.

Hello,

I don't think there is a pre-defined setting in SAP exist for Quote to contract (QT to CQ), but the copying control between a quanityt contract to a standard order is already exists in SAP (CQ to OR).

Check VTAA and maintin thecopying control and try.
