How to hide field in ESS screens ( ITS based)

Hi Experts,

I need to hide some standard field in ESS screens ( Its ITS based so Control + Right Click would not work). Can it be done by some customising in tables instead of developement. I tries table T588M and T588MFPROPC but they does not seems to have any effect on the screens.

Please advice.

You just need to look two tables "T588MFPROPC ( Customer ) " & T588MFPROPS ( System ) . Could you be more specific, Which ITs and fields you want to hide.

Hi Shaqib,

Thanks for replying. I need to hide many fields actually. Right now I am need to hide field "Religion(KTEXT) from info type 0002 ( personal data). I need to hide in ESS screens.

Can you pls tell me in table T588MFPROPS andT588MFPROPC what does Infotype version imply? In standard I can see only values 07 and 10. Are they related to Molga any how? I am wroking for Molga 11 right now.

Try to create an entry for version "11" in view "V_T588MFPROPCu201D. Version represents MOLGA (Country grouping).

 

Version   subtype  infotype 	 Field name      HR: Required Entry Field   HR: Output Field               HR: Not in Use

Hi Saqib,

Thanks a lot for your help but unfortunately it did not fix the problem.

1) Initially there was not value for "11" version drop down so I created one in table T582ITVERS.

2) After this I created a entry in view V_T588MFPROPC as suggested by you ( with Unused as crossed).

My query: Do i need to create similar entry in V_T588MFPROPS table as well?

Please Note that I am working on ITS based ESS.

Is table T588M_ESS is help here?

Do you mind sharing your contact number as I have tough deadline )I will update this thread later with all the information you pass me over phone).

Hmmmm Since it is a system table.. I donu2019t think so, but give it a shot. If it doesnu2019t work . try to give all of the flags uncheck in PORPS and PROPC . No idea about "T588M_ESS" . Well I am not an expert on ESS , I came to know all this because I work with ESS guy closely when we are dealing with Japan Address/emergency address service . Hmmmm you know what. Post the question on ESS forums. Definitely, youu2019ll will get answers. Donu2019t forget to mention in your post, what have you done so far.
