Use of FM RPM_MSP_UPLOAD

Hi All,

I found the FM RPM_MSP_UPLOAD which is used to upload MS Project into the RPM. Could you please share your knowledge on this FM.

1. In Solution Manager Download option is available. My requirement is do the necessary changes in the Local Desktop and Upload it using RPM_MSP_UPLOAD .

2. I would like to know the file format and input data for this FM.

3. I also found the FM RPM_MSP_DOWNLOAD but both does not work.

Could you please share you r knowledge on these topics.

Hi,

The formats should be of following structures

RPM_TS_PROJECT_MSP

RPM_TS_TASK_MSP

RPM_TS_RESOURCE_MSP

RPM_TS_RESOURCE_AVLB_MSP

RPM_TS_TASK_RESOURCE_MSP

RPM_TS_SYSTEM_USERS_EXT

This will solve your problem.

Hi Raghu,

Thanks for the reply. In the External ID I put my project Name as say ZTEST02 and I added some resources in the resource structure. But while executing the FM I got following error message,

Project synchronization started at 15.09.2008 12:36:05.

Logon Page for system not found

The fetch operation was not successful.

Could not upload project from Microsoft Project

I do not know what data has to be passed. I am new to SOLMAN so could you please help me on this.

Also I have got one more requirement, say in SOLAR01 I am downloading as MS Project. Is it possible to upload the same using some FM.

Did you pass the parameters

IV_USERNAME

IV_PASSWORD

You uid and pwd?

Try this, this will solve your problem.

Also I have got one more requirement, say in SOLAR01 I am downloading as MS Project. Is it possible to upload the same using some FM.

There is no direct way to upload your MPP.

Hi Raghu,

According to the online help, it has been mentioned that you can download it into MS Project and then edit the File. What is the purpose of it if you are not able to upload the same.

In the Note it is specified that we can also use report SAPMSIGP to upload MS Project into IMG. Is it different or similar to my requirement.
