Unable to open xl reporter

hi all,

i have installed the xl reporter successfully and from the tools menu(SBO) i opened the xl reporter.when i clicked the xl reporter, "Run-time error '0' " was displayed. Moreover in the SBO window it displayed the error message as " unable to start xl reporter object variable or with block variable not set "

Hi

Please check the following:

- If you are using SQL 2000 check if the SP3 is installed

- In case of that did not help follow the steps from SAP Note 819501 in order to clean up a corrupted add-on installation.

Depending on your version, you may also need to delete two files under B1 client folder. File names like: AddOns*.SBO.

Hi,priyadharshini venkatesan.

This is because the old stand-alone version of XL Reporter previously has been installed on the company database you are trying to use. and onceagain Uninstall then Install XL Report Add on.

Solution :

Start the Enterprise Manager from the Microsoft SQL Server program folder on your Start menu. Browse down to your Business One database, expand and choose tables. Right-click the table called ixtdbversion and choose Open table -> Return all rows. In the column 'Partner' change the text from SAP to SBOOEM and press Enter. Close the Enterprise Manager and start the add-on. The XL Reporter information in the database should now be upgraded.

check the version of the dlls required by the DI AP.

Hi,

-->Try uninstalling all addon

-->Check in the control panel whether it is completely uninstalled

-->Go to run->%temp%

Delete all the files which you are able to delete.

Note:None of the user should be logged in while installing Addon.

If still the problem persists,check whether the registry is deleted, but i recomend you to take back up before doing any changes in the registry
