Error in Mail Adapter: Mail: call failed; java.net.SocketException

Hi Experts ,

I am working in Idoc to Email scenerio :

I was getting an error in Messege Monitoring - Adapter Engine -- Waiting :

Mail: call failed; java.net.SocketException: Connection timed out:could be due to invalid address

Could it be probabley due to wrong url in receiver communication channel.

Regards,

Arnab

    Hii Arnab !!

U have wrong target URL, the target system may be down or as written above - check firewalls - in ur network and also in target.. Meybe your partner has a firewall.

If possible check the URL by copying it in internet browser as it responding properly.

Also check with it if you are sending the proper input fields for header information as per the expectation of the receiver application.

There my be the chances that some field values are expected at Receiver End, if we not pass it, it may lead to time out.

    Check the below thread:

    java.net.SocketException in QA
