Hi All,
I have a RFC which generates PDF documents and save them in a shared folder.RFC returns me the path to open those PDF files
From front page I try to open the PDF files through shell programming .
I get the error "Automation Server Cant create the object"
Whereas when I try to execute same html page out of MII
I get the pop up
u201CTo help protect your security, IE has restricted web page from running scripts or Active X control u2026u201D
After clicking on Yes the pdf file opens
Why this is not possible through MII
Why I dont get a pop up for ActiveX control , can I do something for automatic ActiveX downloads . Active X is stopping automatic printing of pdf files also user has to go to files and configure printer whereas if ActiveX pop up could be handled then through shell programming I can handle automatic pdf printing. Please could you tell me how to avoid ACTIVE X.Is some installation is required?
But MII is not supporting creation of ActiveX object
Is there any work around. Please any help is appreciable
I have tried everything with IE settings by enabling every option, but that does not work
Thanks
Namita

Hi Namita,
Are you by any chance running this from IE6 with the "Enhanced Security Configuration" enabled? This would be the default for IE running on Windows Server 2003?
If not, what version of IE is this?

Hi Sascha,
I am using IE7.0
But I have tried enabling all the Active X settings from IE settings
If I keep it on my desktop it works fine giving me security alert for ACTIVE X but through MII it directly throws me error saying ACTIVE X object cannot be created. I am not able to post the code for shell programming
Thanks
Namita
