Asset T/F

Hi,

I want to transfer asset which was created under X cost center to Y cost center. I am using the transaction code ABUMN for the transfer and when I transferring I getting an error message u201CAsset 1000 INTERN-00001-0 is incomplete, check the assetu201D.

I have enter the document date, posting date and asset value date as todayu2019s date and click the u201Cnet assetu201D button since I want to transfer to new asset and given the asset class and cost center.

Tell me where I went wrong

Hi,

While doing ABUMN process, After click on new asset radio button you enterd business area, cost center and plant but don't press enter button click on ADDITION DATA TAB and do the process . Your problem will be solved.Please confirm.

This error has nothing to do with your posting parameters. Asset incomlete means that Asset master is not complete. Go to AS02 and check each tab whether any required fields are not filled. This may happen in case screen layout has changed subsequently after creation of Asset or User who has created asset has restricted Asset View assigned to his profile because of which he/she didnt maintain complete Asset.
