HTTP_RESP_STATUS_CODE_NOT_OK when using Principle Propagation

Former Member

I am implementing Principle propagation for my PI 7.0 system. I followed the instruction exactly like I did in my dev and qa system. The new intrefaces that are supposed to use the PP (Principal propagation) do not work when it is active, but when they turn it off the user defaulted in directory works fine. Any thoughts???

I get a 401 unauthorized error

The message below equates to: No login module succeeded

<Trace level="1" type="System_Error">HTTP-client: error response= <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <html> <head> <title>Error Report</title> <style> td {font-family : Arial, Tahoma, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size : 14px;} A:link A:visited A:active </style> </head> <body marginwidth="0" marginheight="0" leftmargin="0" topmargin="0" rightmargin="0"> <table width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="0" align="left" height="75"> <tr bgcolor="#FFFFFF"> <td align="left" colspan="2" height="48"><font face="Arial, Verdana, Helvetica" size="4" color="#666666"><b>&nbsp;&nbsp;401 &nbsp Unauthorized</b></font></td> </tr> <tr bgcolor="#3F73A3"> <td height="23" width="84"><img width=1 height=1 border=0 alt=""></td> <td height="23"><img width=1 height=1 border=0 alt=""></td> <td align="right" height="23"><font face="Arial, Verdana, Helvetica" size="2" color="#FFFFFF"><b>SAP J2EE Engine/7.00&nbsp;</b></font></td> </tr> <tr bgcolor="#9DCDFD"> <td height="4" colspan="3"><img width=1 height=1 border=0 alt=""></td> </tr> </table> <br><br><br><br><br><br> <table width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="0" align="left" height="75"> <tr bgcolor="#FFFFFF"> <td align="left" colspan="2" height="48"><font face="Arial, Verdana, Helvetica" size="3" color="#000000"><b>&nbsp;&nbsp;No login module succeeded.</b></font></td> </tr> <tr bgcolor="#FFFFFF"> <td align="left" valign="top" height="48"><font face="Arial, Verdana, Helvetica" size="2" color="#000000"><b>&nbsp;&nbsp;Details:</b></font></td> <td align="left" valign="top" height="48"><font face="Arial, Verdana, Helvetica" size="3" color="#000000"><pre>&nbsp;&nbsp;No details available</pre></font></td> </tr> </body> </html></Trace>

I figured out my problem with SAP's help.....

With the diagtool we found that the Authentication Stack: sap.com/com.sap.aii.af.ms.app*MessagingSystem was out of order in VA. We were able to run the interface without issues.

check Adapter engine in RWB, is message passing through it.

CPA cache - use for adapter or communication channels as well as changes to adapter fraemwrok to runtime. You can check the status of this cache in http://<host><port>/CPACache

so chek adapter framework

Thank you for the links, they all point back to the earlier links. The BPM portion is not where I am having an issue (not using it at all).
