Problem with Opening a donloaded Excel report

Dear All,

At the moment, our PC is installed with 2000 excel but we are using Net Weaver 2000's BI-7 portals. After

we export Bex report from web and save on local PC, its opening as script format.

Is there a way to fix this problem.

PC: Any add-on patch which upgrades excel2000 to excel 2003

Hi,

This feature is working in the other project on the production server which is on the Suppot pack 12.

But after we upgrade our Dev to SP 14 from 12, we are facing this problem. Is there any notes which resolve this problem.

The portal export-to-excel files are created in MSOffice XML coding, which cannot be interpreted by excel 2000.
