Communication Channel Error

Hi Friends,

I am facing a problem in Runtime Workbench in communication channel monitoring,

when i am selecting Component Monitoring -> Adapter Engine , in status when i click on Are communication channels without errors? ... Details . it shows

0 communication channels have an error status

0 communication channels inactive

0 communication channels not providing any status information

0 adapters logging communication-channel-independent processing errors

After that i selected Communication Channel Monitoring,and for displayin all communication channel when i clickd on Use filter with Status = All,

it shows empty table with message

0 channels found

I had already defined communication channel in ID and activated it.

How can i solve this error?

HI,

ther is no problem.

U get the communication channel information once u run ur scenario end to end.

Only by ativating the channel will not give any information in RWB.

That earlier problem was on basis side...

Right now,

We have created a simple file to file scenario using the blog

Here it should pic up the file from one folder and place it in other folder that we have created on server.

but its not happning. i had posted a question on forum for that scnario also, n got lots of reply bt stll not able to make it work.

Hi chirag, as u said i completed end to end scnario.. i am creating sales order in one system and sales order confirmation is goin on other system, bt stll nt able to c any communication channel...

Solved the problem by doing full CPA cache refresh.

Strange error, is it you are not able to see any CC names ok just try to clear CPA Cache by giving http://<hostname>:<J2EEStackPortNumber>/CPACache/refresh?mode=full.

I have created CC under scenario,, so it means it is assigned to integration scnario... or is there some other way to assign it...

I tried giving http://<hostname>:<J2EEStackPortNumber>/CPACache/refresh?mode=full but it is giving some authorization problem.. so wll soon check with my basis guy n wll come back on this

Hi,

You can assign the CC to the sender and receiver agreements.

Try to provide your communication channel name in the communication channel monitoring and then click on use filter link you will see the communication channel which you have created.

I had given comm channel in recceiver agreement btthn also it didnt work... also checkd tht filted options wih all the possible inputs and without input also.. bt stll no comm channel in tht....

N the strange thing is m able to send msg frm one system to other.. bt stll its nt displayin CC. right now i m sending msg from sandbox to ides system

How did you test it. Have you configured the complete scenario...

Also let me know, how did you check the communication channel name in the RWB->Comm. channel monitoring.

when i create sales order on sandbox system, i generat a idoc and send it to xi system...

and in receiver i had given ides system in xi..

so its working fine.. whn i create sales order i am able to c idoc in we02 in sand box and also able to c in sxmb_moni in xi and after that , idoc appears in we02 in ides system.. so the complete scnario is working fine.

for checking communication channel name..in comm. channel montitoring.. i clicked on filter button..with status = all. but nothing wokrd. also tested it by giving comm ch. name.. thn also didnt workd.

can it be related to proxy or some thing.. coz right now in xi system proxy is giving some error.. n m wokrin to solve tht errors...

Hi,

What are the communication channels you created under the scenario and did you link it with sender and receiver agreement.

Also let me know, after giving the CC name in CC monitoring did you click on use filter with all other parameters like status ="ALL" and rest as blank.

Check this it should definitely show the cc. Else try to register the adapters and then check it.

I had a similar problem, it seemed to be an inconsistency in my SLD.

Going through SAP note 764176 did the trick.

It seems that you have same problem as already discussed by Vaibhav . Plz check there is some problem in adapter engine. Are you able to see adapter engine under integration server? chk the forum search for No pick and send in File to file scenario By vaibhav.

i checked the foroum post by vaibhav, bt it dnt solve my problem.. i am not able to c communication channel in communication channel monitoiring,. i had clicked on filter button, bt it shows 0 communication channel.

I am workin on the scnario on which when i create sales order confirmation should go to the partner system.

and the strange part is , it is workin, bt it not showing any thing in communication channel monitorin.

any suggestion??
