Please suggest me alternate for bdc lsmw and bapi

Hi Gurus,

i doing bdc for T.CODE RECN but i am unable to capture some fields in subcreen and i getting error for that one when i am trying to upload and i did it same in LSMW but ther also i am getting same problem. Please suggest me the work around the way to get solve me issue....

Try with CATT.

but believe for data uploading CATT is not preffred.

Hi Kranthi,

Search for some BAPI. If u r in latest version then hopefully u will get BAPI for almost all the transactions. Also check ur recording once again. u might be doing some mistake.

LSMW is generally used for onetime upload during initial conversion from legacy system to SAP.

Amit,

I think CATT also works in the same way as BDC if i am not wrong. Only difference is u can directly upload the file instead of writing a program. Correct me if i am wrong. So CATT also may not work in this case if it is not capturing those fields in BDC.
