Is it possible to crearte a number range that has a letter infront of the number range?

Hi community, my question is , is it possible to crear a number range in production orders that has a letter in front of the range? example: D0000000 to D9999999 ?? can it be done?, kind regards.

Hi German,

I believe number range D0000000 to D9999999 can NOT be created. F1 help says:

External intervals can only contain either letters or numbers, as sorting can differ between platforms (Code page):

Allowed: 000001 to 999999; AAAAAA to ZZZZZZ
Not allowed: AAAAAA to 999999

Such number ranges can be created as external number ranges only.

The program logic for internal number ranges is not capable to calculate D1 +1 = D2
