How to find out how many Technical Materials views did I create and which modifications I made

Hello to all!

I need to create a KPI that shows how many views of a technical material did I create and which modifications I did as well. What I know so far is that there are to different tables on transaction SE16 (CDHDR and CDPOS) that shows some of this information, but I would like to know if there is something easier or that goes straight to this point.

Thank you!

As you can make many changes at one time SAP differentiates between header data CDHDR and item data CDPOS, where CDHDR keeps all information that is common for all changes which are itself listed in CDPOS.

Those tables carry all changes made in your system, no just material master changes, which means that it is among the biggest tables in your system and using it in reports you may experience long run time and eventually even negative performance effects to other activities in your system.

Those tables are the only tables keeping information on changes you have done to a material master.

Regarding the views you have created for a material, you can retrieve this information from table MSTA.
