Thank you all for your answers.

But my question here is what technical dificulty will I face if i change Risk category and corresponding Automatic Credit control.

Also to add to the thread when I was changing Automatic Credit Control, I was not able to change Horizon Units. I want to change from Months (M) to Days (D).

Thank you

HI, changing the horizon units is possible using T-Code OMO1. For credit risk management the info structure is S066 / S067. After a change like that (and if you change the risk category in FD32) at least RVKRED77 is necessary; I didn't use RFDKLI20 when I made such a change. See SAPNET-Notes for more details e.g. 550236, 408596.

hi,

Risk category is itself self explanatory.

risk category tells about the risk involvement for a customer.

risk category determines by the FI people based on the payment history & credibility of that customer.

U can maintain risk category based on ur requirement .E.g-- high risk, medium risk , low risk, or no risk as well.

Risk category is useful for automatic credit check.. Credit control area . risk category....

In order level u can see the risk category of ur customer as well by selecting Environment-->Partner->Risk Management..... It will take u to FD33 directly.

If u change the risk category then it will effect the automatic credit check.

hope it will help u

Hi,

Risk category is a key which identifies what kind of credit check should be done.

As per the system mechanism system will check such things based on some parameters, according to the scenario SAP has defined such keys in the business terminology. such one is risk category.

They have defined them to reflect the business needs and to define credit check accordingly.

for example, high risk customers should be checked thoroughly and orders should get blocked in order to verified by the proper responsible persons.

Hope this will help you.

Hi,

You should check the settings in the following IMG-activity:

Sales and distribution => Basic functions => Credit management/Risk management => Credit management => Define automatic credit control

Hi

Risk category classifies customers according to the level of risk. Along with the document type, the risk category helps to determine which kind of credit check the system automatically carries out. For the combination of the risk category and the doc type you can map the level of the risk they pose to the company. This combination can be used to process the type of credit check you would want for a set of customers.
