SAP Fiori NWBC - SSO

Hi All,

I'm trying to access apps in Launchpad - Front end server, Fiori. While accessing apps it is connecting to back end(using trusted RFC) and retrieving data from back end. All this is happening without user intervention. Where as few webdynpro apps for which it is asking for back end login credentials.

1. How to avoid this?

2. How can I access back end without giving back end login details?

3. We don't have Active directory in landscape. Without AD, what is the best method to achieve this? Your suggestions means a lot to me.

Thanks in advance, Uday

Hi JC,

Thanks for your response. We have Web Dispatcher installed, we could able to access Fiori with and without Web Dispatcher. STRUSTSSO2 - Backend has GW certificates, GW has backend certificates. It is not prompting for user credentials for normal apps. Issue is only with Web Dynpro apps.

Thanks, Uday

Hi Uday,

Do you have SAP Webdispatcher installed & configured for Fiori? I would recommend to route all your GW/ECC requests via SAP Webdispatcher or any Reverse proxy.

Regarding the backend, have you exported ECC certificate into GW system via STRUSTSSO2? If the backend server certificate is not imported into GW, it will prompt for user credentials whenever you try to use backend applications.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,

JC
