Hi Guru,
i am changing the price by using the MR21 transaction code.
but while changing the price system it give the following error.
A current or future standard price exists for material xxxxxxx.
please give me the valid information on this. it is very urget i have to change this today.

Dear,
Same problem face me at the time of price change.
main reason is costing is already run for this material.
Due to costing material price is already maintain for this material.
So if you want to change price of this material contact your costing person and reverse costing for material. Then try to change material price.
You can check it with MM03 - enter your material code, select accounting 1 view, Here you can see Std Cost Estimate button.
Click on it, You can see three button,
Future,
Current,
Previous.
Click on Current and future and see costing for material.
If costing is run for material in current period then try for future date.
Best way is reverse costing and then try to change price.

remove future price in mm03 accounting data 1 and then enter new price in mr21.

Go to Material Master Accounting View 1 and Check whether any Future Price is Maintained in Future Price Field.

Diagnosis
A current or future cost estimate exists.
Procedure
You can set the price of a marked cost estimate through the radio button 'Default Planned Prices' and release it by saving.
