Change log for DataStore Object: What does request ID prefix "REQU_" mean ?

Former Member

Hi,

I have a question about the Change log associated with a DataStore Object (in this case the 0SD_O01 DataStore Object that comes from BI Content).

When we look in the Change log of this (or any other) DataStore then we see the different activation requests, the Request ID's all starting with "0DSR_". This is the normal case I assume.

However for this particular DataStore there is one request in the Change Log for which the Request ID starts with "REQU_" instead of "0DSR_".

Can someone tell us what this means? We do not see the Request ID in the list of activated Requests for this DataStore, so we are interested to know how this request ended up in the Change Log.

Best regards,

Guido

Hi

You can check that REQU_* rewuest number with the transaction RSRQ

There check in the details tab-->> subsequent processing, whether the request was activated or not

Hi Shilpa,

The RSRQ was very helpful, because I couldn't find the request in the DataStore Object (still a newbie..). It seems that the request was related to the DataSource that is associated with the DataStore (so that data can be uploaded to subsequent InfoProviders), but how the request ended up in the DataStore Change log is still unclear.

Thanks

Guido

Hi

I was sure, that Requ_* request is always pertaining to a loading request.

I am also unclear with the fact that how that requ request ended up in change log.

Just one question, whether that request was activated or not,

was it showing anything in the subsequent processing in the details tab for the request....

Hi,

You are right I think, it was a loading request (but for the associated DataSource). There must have been some configuration problem at the time of loading (we just in the process of migrating and loading BI Content).

There was no subsequent processing showing in the Details tab by the way.

Anyway, my original question has now been answered: REQU_ refers to a loading request.

Thanks for your help, will start a new thread when necessary.

Best regards,

Guido

Hi

ODSR_* is the name of the activation request.

REQU_8 is the name of the request which loads the data, if this request is visiblible in the ods, then it might be possible that the particular request is not activated.

track that request number in the target, and see whether it was actiavted or not.

try actiavting it....

If this is the case, please let me know as well..
