IC Alerts in CRM 2007

Hi All,

Im trying to create an alert in CRM 2007. Im not familiar with Rule Modeler to assign the alert so what I did is to use rule-based alerts (same as what we have in CRM5.0). Ive already added the event name to event repository CRM_IC_EVENT. It is triggering the alert class that Ive done but no alert being displayed in IC. Im not sure if we missed activating some ICF node or if this java version problem. Please enlighten me on how to proceed with this and if there's another option on creating an alert.

    Hi Joan,

    In CRM2007 you should use the rule modeler to trigger an alert. Please do not use the 'old' alert framework from CRM5.0. This will not work.
