(filename).par.bak but in download getting dafault file type

Trying to download PAR file from portal , in download getting file with dafault extension should i change file type or something wrong in my process?

System Admin path (ROOT/WEB-INF/deployment/pcd) try to downloading file name PLCPortalLogonPage.par.bak par file but in download getting com.sap.portal.support.browse

Hi,

Did you try to take it directly from the file system? I know it seems to be obvious, but would be interesting to see whether the file is right there.

Please check the deployment of the portal components to verify that the deployment has happened without any errors. This can be done by checking if there are .err files in the corresponding directories: deployment, pcd and pcdContent in the following paths in the file system: ../usr/sap/<SAPSID>/JC<(><<)>(> <<(><<)>)>instancenumber>/j2ee/cluster/server0/apps /sap.com/irj/servlet_jsp/irj/root/WEB-INF/deployment ../usr/sap/<SAPSID>/JC<(><<)>(> <<(><<)>)>instancenumber>/j2ee/cluster/server0/apps/ sap.com/irj/servlet_jsp/irj/root/WEB-INF/deployment/pcd ../usr/sap/<SAPSID>/JC<(><<)>(> <<(><<)>)>instancenumber>/j2ee/cluster/server0/apps/ sap.com/irj/servlet_jsp/irj/root/WEB-INF/deployment/pcdContent ../usr/sap/<SAPSID>/JC<(><<)>(> <<(><<)>)>instancenumber>/j2ee/cluster/server0/apps/ sap.com/irj/servlet_jsp/irj/root/WEB-INF/deployment/pcdContent/ no_overwrite Any .err file here shows a deployment error and this needs a redeployment of the file. Remove the ".err" extention and restart the SAPJ2EE engine. If the deployment is ok, all files should be renamed to he respective *.bak files. Enjoy!
