Hi Guru's

I have a requirement of capturing data from CRM Web client and it will be directly transfered to BI system. The data will not be stored in CRM system. In the web client Interaction center is there any customization or though RFC could be possibly do this. Any documentation or help regarding this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in Advance

Krishna

Hi,

Can you tell what data are you trying to capture.

The type of data that you are looking to capture can either be present in the system and you are tryin to update it. For this you can use transaction launcher which will help to update the data and then from there pick the data in BI.

Second, it can be data from survey that you are trying to capture. For this you can maintain the setting in CRM_SURVEY_SUITE, use the survey in Script and analyse the data in BI. There are Datasources that can be used for the purpose.

Do write back.

Hi,

Are you using a seperate transaction for this screen. What is the screen component in which the agent will have to input the data. I am sure you are not just bringing a blank page, which also needs to be developed.

If possible, tell me the entire business process in detail.

Hi Rajeev,

Sorry if i was ambiguous before. The scenario is that we have CRM/ISU and BI server for the client. All the three are inter connected. Now the requirement is that in the CRM web client page we will create one more page for entering say three fields which are for example A,B,C these then need to be transfered to the BI for reporting purpose. These data will not be stored in the CRM system. One of the possible ways is though web services. This i dont have much idea on.

Pls let me know if you have a solution for this or if you have any documents for web services in CRM.

Regards

Krishna

The BI extractors generally pull the data from CRM. (or some data source i.e ECC, SCM, CRM, etc) so most likely A,B, C will be somewhere in your transaction data to feed the BI ODS.
