Can you supress the toolbar in OpenDocument?

Hello,

I am trying to render a WebI report via OpenDocument. However, I don't want any of the toolbars, etc.. to show, just the main body of the report.

I know features slowly change over time, and recently there was the noDetailsPanel=true which does get rid of the right-side panel.

I have tried to place the user running this into a special group that has a special access level removing most WebI permissions for toolbars, and I also did the customization on the group the user is in to remove all the elements I possibly could, which actually left two empty bars at the top now instead of just a refresh bar. It also has a filter bar even-though I removed filtering.

I really didn't want to re-invent the wheel with a custom.jsp to re-render a report from scratch if I didn't have to, but right now I am at a loss how to remove them while just in openDocument. I don't want to remove it totally or I could try to do it in javascript in an HTML element on the report.

Does anyone have any ideas on this, even if it involves the opendocument custom.jsp file and what I can do there.

Thanks in advance,

Nathan

Hi Nathan,

No, I don't believe there is any way to achieve this just for openDocument apart from using sOutputFormat=P for a PDF output.

Webi customization is the only option, but it applies to all of the webi viewers rather than just opendoc.

Crystal Reports does have the capability you are asking for when using openDocument. Perhaps request the same functionality for Web Intelligence docuements here: https://influence.sap.com/sap/ino/#/campaign/895
