ALE Setup - Inbound IDOC gets automatically posted

Hi,

I have setup ALE for the transfer of data and maintained the required outbound and inbound partner profiles.

I face the below 2 issues:

1) At the receiver system the IDOCS get uploaded automatically.

Client needs this to be done manually via BD87 due to certain dependencies.

2)Also client mentions that previously they were able to track the actual/individual user that has posted these IDOCS - (SLG1 logs) .

After this new setup we get only the RFC system user here.

This can also be checked in table cukb

Please let me know if anyone has a solution to this.

Hi Marisa,

If the IDoc´s are getting processed automatically despite of using the setting 'Trigger by background program' in WE20, please check for the flag 'Express' in the control record of the given IDoc. If this flag is set, the settings in the Partner Profiles will be overwritten and the processing is done immediately-

To the second question: You can check in the table EDIDS all status values of a given IDoc, together with the user, processing the IDoc.
