MB1A-Storage location optional

Hi,

In MB1A,how do i make the storage location field as optional against a mvt type.

It is Not Possible To set Storage Location field Optional for MB1A Screen. I have also Tried but invain. For this,, better to Create Transaction Variant thru SHD0.

Hi,

This is not possible to make storage location as optional for Inventory Management Transactions (Material Movements) in SAP Standard configuration and also it is not suggested to do so.

But, you can try Transaction Variant (SHD0) for this.

can you explain why you want do that. It is probably easier to explain it than spend a lot of time for SHD0 and finally realizing that it will even with a transaction variant not work without storage location.
