How to assign Banking Coverage Team Client Status and Line of Business?

Hi together,

we have problems to assign the Line of Business to a Customer and the Opportunity.

In the C4C Admin Guide there is written the following:

What is the primary member of a coverage team? We can not find the field client status on the customer. We have searched to all available views and the field is not visible and can not be added.

When trying to assign the line of business under view coverage team no line of business is visible:

The customizing for the line of business and coverage status is maintained:

    Hello Oliver,

    First a couple of key points of clarification:

    1. Line of Business (LOB) - This really refers to a product lines such as Commercial Loans, Asset Management etc. and we leveraged the Territory Management functionality here to build out some industry specific features.

    2. LOB type - As part of the solution, we delivered functionality which could be different depending on which product line an opportunity was being pursued. To be able to automatically trigger screen changes, or business processes depending on the product line, we used a concept of LOB type and developed rules behind it (which cannot be changed by customer but some extension is allowed).

    When a new LOB/territory is created, it must be assigned to a LOB type such as Loans, Assets.

    3. Coverage Team - This is similar to an Account team. An account can be assigned to multiple LOBs. For each combination of Account & LOB there is typically one bank employee who is primarily responsible for the account and could have an alternate (example an Assistant) also assigned to the Account, Only the bank employee who is the 'Primary' and can set the status (Prospect, customer ) and as it pertains to his/her particular product line. This status can be different for different LOB's based on that employees assessment.

    Note: Both the Primary and Alternate employee must be assigned to the LOB (i.e. Territory) in order to be able to be added to the coverage team.

      thank you very much for your reply. I searched now through al the views of C4C. May I kindly ask you, where do I assign the primary and alternate employee to the LOB?

      I could not find the spot in the system.
