Can u pls tell me the implication of the setting - Configure Price Change in Previous Period/Previous Year

?

The configuration is existing in - MM-> valuatio and account assignment->Configure Price Change in Previous Period/Previous Year

Hi,

In the case of a price change in the previous period or in the previous year, you must define whether the change also applies to the current period. You have two options:

- The price change applies only in the previous period or previous year and does not affect the current period.

- The price change also applies to the current period; the price in the current period is thus also changed automatically.

Note: - If you change the price in the current period, you can no longer reverse the changes.

Price change only applies to the previous year or previou period:

System chnages prices in the previous year or previos period only. The account movements that took place in the previous period or previous year are reversed again to the current period.

Price change not only applies to the previous perios or previous year but also to the current period:

System chnages prices not only in the previous year or previos period but also in the current period. If the quantities and previous prices are the same in the previous year or period , account movement only occur in the previous period. If not account movement also occur in the current period. These account movements reverse the postings in the previous period and result in the current price change
