We have 1 nul Crystal Server license, so we do not have access to publication features of Crystal Server.
We can, however, set up reports to export to a destination and use placeholders as the file name.
Does anyone know how we can schedule a report in Crystal Server and then export the pdf file with a custom name which is based on a field? Is there something in Crystal Server I am missing, as I believe the placeholders in Crystal Server cannot be "customized"? Perhaps we could use a bat file or something?
I would like to avoid using 3rd party software, if possible.
Thanks for any suggestions.
Thanks, Don.
I tried your suggestions, but no luck. The Crystal Server destination placeholder "Title" looks at the title within Crystal Server and is ignoring any information I add to the report via Summary info.

Hi Cheryl,
Open the Report and in the Summary info set the Title to the report name. That is about as much as you can do without code.
Or in the Special Fields option there is a Report Title but not sure if that will work for what you want to do.
