AO 2.5 with EPM Add In Vs EPM Add In SP 30 ( Stand Alone) - Pros and Con

Hi All,

We are in the process of upgrading from EPM 10 .0 to EPM 10.1.

We are testing the AO2.5 and also EPM Add In SP30.

I saw few issues in AO2.5 which has the EPM Add In - errors like error when validating the transformation file, VB error, etc.

Any of you guys using the AO 2.5 with the EPM Add In for classic or Standard BPC reporting. We have only the standard models and no embedded models.

Interested in knowing the issues in AO 2.5 EPM Addin and also any issues in EPM Add IN SP 30 standalone.

Any document available in SDN which has the AO EPM Add In features . Thanks in advance for the help.

Hi Senthil Esakkiappan,

Just remember that if you want to use Analysis for Office and EPM than you will need to use the EPM that is installed within AO (embeded) and not the stand alone (not compatible).

If you use only standard models then standalone EPM Add-In is a recommended option.
