Hello,
We have been given the task of combining two Solution Manager systems into one to handle all divisions of the corporation. The thought was to do an SLD merge from the smaller system into the bigger system, but the issue we have is that we have multiple systems with the same SID. (PRD for example). We're hoping to avoid rerunning the managed system configuration for all systems defined in the smaller Solution Manager system into the larger one.
Is there a way to merge when there are duplicate Technical system names associated with duplicate SIDs? If not, is there an easy way to only copy those systems with unique names?
Thanks.

Hello Danny,
In this context you might check SAP Note 935474 - Grouping SLD instances.

Additional information. The SAP systems with the same SID definitely have different host names. I know that creating a system within Managed Systems will create a different technical name (PRD, then PRD00001, PRD00002, ...) but we were hoping to avoid redoing work if possible.
