oracle 10 g is not able to start

hi to all sap-oracle gurus.

i am trying to install oracle 10g it is giving the below error

Error in writing to directory c:\WINDOWS\TEMP\OraInstall2006-01-01_01-18-15am.

Please ensure that this directory is writable and has atleast 45 mb of disk space.installation cannot continue.

but there is 6.5 gb of free space in that directiry

i deleted all the contents of temp directory also

I DID CHECKED THE ENVIRONMENT VARIABLE ALSO

i am currently in midway in oracle upgrade from 9.2.0.7.0 to oracle 10 g in sapupgrade 47EE to ECC6.0 version

i am logged on with SIDADM user.

i am unable to understand where the problem is

Please help me out.

Go to that directory properties-> security tab and check your user have permissions to access that directory

Ali,

Please delete or move the folder and try again.

Also check that SIDADM user has full rights to make changes in the c:\WINDOWS\TEMP.

Also check how much of disk space is available for Temp directory.
