Most of our sales reports are at item level and need sales, billing and delivery information in combination. I searched SDN and found that people have used sales overview cube (0SD_C03). This approach raised some questions and now we are trying to create consolidated DSO for sales ( from 2LIS_11_VAITM, VAHDR and V_ITM data source), DSO for deliveries and billing. Then create respective cubes on top of respective DSO and create multiprovider on sales, delivery and billing cubes to generate overview reports.
I am looking for some directions in which we should focus on developing the BI Architecture. Please advice me about the rich approach as I read some where on SDN that there is no way to join the sales, delivery and billing cubes and provide one record. Is it right?
Gurus Please help.
