Access to SART

Hello,

I was just wondering as too how I can access SART in ECC 5.0. When I try the T code in the command menu, I get "You cannot start Transaction SART directly" which further suggests "Use the 'Infosystem' menu in your application instead."

I could not see an option to see the reporting structure under InfoSystem.

4.5B has it clearly marked.

Thank you,

Sri

Hi,

On the end you have to go for the solution from Markus, but for the short term you can use the transaction:

SARP - Reporting (Tree Structure): Execute

The you can select there your old tree

Hi Paul,

you are correct that this provides you access to a reporting tree, but - at least for FI-AA - this does not help you much I think.

Check the reports in that tree, all maintained ones are the "old" reports, which are not SAP List Viewer Reports. These are not really supported any more, besides the fact that they are really inflexible having so sacrifize all functions the new ALV reports are enabled for. For instance Asset Balances report in that old reporting tree is report RABEST01, which you will not find in the easy access menu for application FI-AA. The new report created long ago is RABEST_ALV01. Same for all other reports.

Personally I would recommend to use the Infosystem node provided in the easy access menu of the individual applications. With the concept of user based roles you can assign any user the individual access menu he/she needs.

Regards,

Markus

Hi,

the message means that you have a node "Infosystem" in almost each application. You should use this part in the applications Easy Access menu.
