Error while calling the CPI/BAPI

Hi

When we are trying to connect to SAP BW Query in crystal reports getting the following error.

Database Connector Error : Bapi error#0

Error occured when strating the parser : timeout during allocate/CPIC-CALL : ThSAPCMRCV"

we are using SAP BI7.0/SAP GUI 7.10/CRYSTAL REPORTS 11.5.8

help is urgently required.

Hi can you please let us know whats is "transaction SM59 the MDX Parser Destination is ok ?

we created RFC connection in sm59 with the name BI_BOBJ and it is working fine.

I am not getting what is MDX parser means?and we are using Unicode version of BI7.0. As per few sap notes I understood that i need to replace Librfc32.dll file but as we are using Unicode version we have Librfc32u.dll.

please let me your views on this.

Hi,

the MDX Parser is a destination in transaction SM59.

take a look at note : 1032461

many thanks for ur interest.

I gone through the notes. here in notes he is suggesting to replcace Librfc32.dll. but as we are using Unicode version of BI we dont have Librfc32.dll instead we have Librfc32u.dll.

Please help

Hi,

you must have librfc32.dll present on your BI system to resolve this issue.

you should use Crystal Reports 2008 and can you also check if in transaction SM59 the MDX Parser Destination is ok ?
