Syntax error while File chunking

HI Experts,

I have an inbound scenario, File to Proxy. We are getting xml format. The file is 720 MB so I am using file chunking and splitting the file. This is the file structure.

I am also using xslt mapping to add headers. I am having an issue. I am able to splitt the files but I am not getting correct records. The file is splitting and it is not ending with correct Tags. File node is not imp but SET(child) node is important. The file has only 1 File node but multiple SET nodes. How to splitt the file without getting syntax error.

Please suggest .

Thanks,

Pardeep

    Pradeep,

Chunk mode does not come in handy when you are having mapping , chunk mode is supposed to be used only when you have pass through scenario.

In your case as its xml file then splitting the file via size and accessing it in mapping does not work . See if you case the sender system to split file via limited no of records with lesser size

      Thanks for the reply Manoj.

Unfortunately, Sender system will not do anything. I have to split the file. Can I spit it with number of records ? When I tried putting the file without splitting, PI system went down. So I am not sure if splitting with number of record would work.

      What do you suggest.

      Thanks,

    Hi, Pradeep

Size of 720 MB is too large for PI to digest.

Message split is a way to resolve this situation. You can leverage "Signature" tab within the message mapping object to accomplish this. If possible, you can provide sample source and destination message type for a much precise feedback.
