Delivery no mismatch on shipment/pack slip and ASN

Hi Gurus,

In one of our bussiness scenario the process goes like this:

1. Outbound delivery gets created in ECC and gets distributed to EWM : 8 series del no gets generated : 8XXXXXXX

2. Pack slip gets printed in EWM after packing before Goods Issue. Contain del info - Delivery no ( original delivery ) , Hu info etc.

3. In case of delivery split - partial goods issue for few line or for a single HU - Another Delivery gets generated for the lines that are issued - 1 series del no - 1XXXXXXX

4. The same delivery gets updated in ECC for which goods issue completed.

5. Another 1 series del gets created for the remaining lines/HU upon confirmation

6. EDI/IDOC contains this new 1 series delivery no but the delivery shipped out to the customer/pack slip contains the original delivery no (8 series del no).

So the delivery no on the IDOC and the shipment does match and the customer does not accept it.

Please guide me how to resolve this issue.

Hello Abhijnana,

Unfortunately the system behavior you are looking for is not possible. If you do a delivery split, you have to do the printing after the split and the creation of the outbound delivery in EWM (the outbound delivery order is not sufficient). Before you do that the system does not know the number it will actually have in the end.
