material extention from plant to plant

How the material is extending from plant to plant with the same number. what is the process running inside, when we do this.

Go to MM01 and give Material Number in Copy From Field and click on Orgn Levels and Input New Plant & tor Locn and in Copy From Tab Input Old Plant & Storn Locn and Enter and Save.

You can Use MM50 also For Extending Material Views.

here give the material no (already exist) in copy from field then same no give in the material code field

now eneter and proceed

Hi,

Go to MM01 and here enter material and copy from material as same material code and select the views and organizational elements and extend the views.

Else you can use MM50 also.
