Can you confirm in which area you want to extend customer?

Genrally we extend the customer in terms of Sales area and this can be easilly done by XD02 itslef by assigning the sales area again.

Yes, you are right.Customer is extended in terms of sales area. But I need FM for doing this extension of customer.

Go with Xd02 than.

Moreover you can write BDC also for same if you have costomer in Bulk.
