Unmanaged URL and Enterprise License Key Version

Greetings,

I have been trying to get Coldfusion 8 and Crystal Enterprise 10 to work together by using the 'Unmanaged URL' method. Specifically we are using the 'Crystal Enterprise Professional Version' of Enterprise 10 and when I check the license key in the CMC, it is for 5 'Named Users'. To use the 'Unmanaged URL' method, does it matter if the license key is for 'Named Users' or 'Concurrent Users'?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

:)mary

Unmanaged reporting uses the Guest account, which requires a Concurrent Access License. You can't use Named User License for Guest.

    • Hello Mary,

If you do have a support contract with SAP Business Objects, it'll be best if you can open up a SAP Incident.

Unmanaged URL report - where you reference an rpt file in the URL and have IIS display it - was deprecated with Crystal Enterprise 10.

It looks like the URL you have now is trying to stream the rpt file back, and not display the report.

      Sincerely,

      Ted Ueda
