Export to Excel file button is disabled

Hi All

We are using Netweaver2004s , ours is a standalone Java system.

We have a WebDynpro which is supposed to have the functionality of downloading to excel.

Now when we execute the report the button is disabled. Request you to help me in this regard.

Where should i look and how to troubleshoot it.
