We have GPS coordinates in BW which have 14 decimal places, e.g.
12.91662290000000. We want to show them in a Geo Map in Lumira 2.0 Discovery. In BW, the GPS coordinates have type CHAR(18). In order to build a Geo Hierarchy in Lumira, we have to convert them to a numeric type, using Lumira function ToNumber. Unfortunately, ToNumber silently rounds to 2 decimal places! This is a problem for us, since we need to show the precise GPS coordinates in the Geo Map - the GPS coordinates should not be rounded! Ist there a way to accomplish this? Can I define functions in Lumira or do I have to use the Designer/DesignStudio for that?
Using newest version of Lumira Discovery and my coordinates are also showing 2 decimal places

Hi Steffi - I am stumped; I experienced the same as you. I recommend looking at Lumira Designer which can use the lat/long as attributes...
