adding a field in material type "HERS"

Hi Friends,

My client wants me to add a field "warranty code" in material type "HERS". this field is there in basic data screen of materials.

How a functional consultant can solve this?

functional consultant have to configure after devlopement is done.

you need help of ABAPer to include the field in materal master than you can do the config part.

Hi,

Step1: Check the Ref Field for material type 'HERS', IMG-> Logistical General -> MM -> Basic Settings -> Define Attributes of Material Types;

Step2: Check the field group of Warrant Code, IMG-> Logistical General -> MM -> Field Selection -> Assign Field to Field Group

Step3: Check the field group setting for the Ref Field, IMG-> Logistical General -> MM -> Field Selection -> Maintain Field Selection for Data Screens
