Deliveries gettin created for no stock

Hi Everyone,

I am facing a typical scenario. We have a stock of Zero units for material XYZ. But, we are sill able to create the deliverires for these.

Please advise.

Hi,

Is availability check activated for the schedule line category? Can you check your sales order is confirmed with quantities, at item level -> schedule line?

Also check the stock for the product in transaction MMBE, for all the applicable plants?

Can you clearly explain about your scenario, like is it regular sales order processing or third party sales order processing?

Hi Shiva,

In the sales order, Since the quantity was zero ATP proposed lead time confirming the quantity. Currently in MMBE, the stock is zero. When i tried creating delivery the system was able to create it. Now, when we deleted this delivery and ried creating it again, it would not let us do it.

Please advis what could have caused this situation??

Hi there,

Check in delivery item categories if there is any setting in material with zero quantity allowed. If there setting that allows you to create delivery with 0 quantity, then change it.

Also check for stock availability against the storage location in OVL3.
