Hi Ismed,

you should use only one of the transactions SDCC or SDCCN, not both. Since SDCCN is the more recent transaction, SAP recommends using SDCCN.

The process for EWA using Solution Manager is as follows:

1. EWA session is created for satellite system in Solution Manager

2.SDCCN in satellite system fetches EWA session from Solution Manager

3. SDCCN in satellite system collects data for session and sends it to Solution Manager

4. Solution Manager generates a report based on the data sent from the satellite system.

From your description it's difficult to tell where the problem might be. Have you checked that Solution Manager is creating EWA sessions for the satellite system correctly? (For example with the correction installation number.) Have you checked that the RFC connection from the satellite to the Solution Manager system is visible in SDCCN and that it can be tested successfully?

best regards,

-David.

Hi, David

Firstly, thank you for the reply.

I have checked from your reference and found that my configuration in RFC connection was not properly yet.

We are still confused, what is the function of RFC Back connection and RFC Trusted connection.

For the information, our RFC trusted system can not be built, when we test connection, the ping etc are good but when we were trying remote logon, there was message "no authorization to logon as trusted system". Can you give me help for this message???

Thank you.

Hi Ismed,

Just check whether you have the same user in both the satellite as well as SolMan system and the user must contain a role with authorization object S_RFCACL in order to access a trusted system destination.

Thanks & Best Regards,

Hi Ismed,

in the default set up, the *BACK connection is added to SDCCN in the satellite system and is used to fetch the sessions from the Solution Manager. So assuming that you want to run the default set up, you should make sure that the *BACK connection is working and is entered in SDCCN.

best regards,

-David.

Dear David,

So the back connection in sattelite system put the sattelite system as the target host?

Can you give me information or any documentation for creating RFC Trusted Connection because we have tried to create it but still didn't work in test authorization.

Thank you David.

Hi Ismed,

I'm not sure I can help much more. The BACK connection is from the satellite to the Solution Manager, so the target has to be the Solution Manager.

I tried to look for information about TRUSTED connections but I could only find

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/22/042671488911d189490000e829fbbd/frameset.htm

It doesn't seem to contain anything Solution Manager specific though.

I'm sorry that I couldn't be of more assistance.

best regards,

-David Murphy.
