Resticting a specific field value from the group of values

Dear Experts,

I want to to restrict a field with one value from the group/range of values in a particular object.

For example Under object M_MATE_WRK, for field WERKS the avilable values are say AGFD,BCDS,FRDS,REFS,etc.....

i want to restrict one value say BCDS and rest all the values to be given to user.

is there any specific procedure is available for the same

But if my plant values are starting with different names as per my example then is there any way to restrict??

Only enter the exact values that then need.

HI,

the concept is to grant each authorization. So there is no possibility of a 'negative-selection'. so either you add every vlaue seperately, or use intervals, as per your example the plant starting with B* should not be authorized, so simply enter teh values and group then as many as possible in intervals (as I mentioned before...).
