Followed Activity - 'Followed blog' link missing

Hi,

I get these notifications once in a while with no links to the blog that the person is following. Also, I am not following Joseph Whitty, and I am not sure why I am getting this info in my activity feed. Is it because he 'follow'ed a blog that I am following? Is that how this type of activity feed works?
